Stan Brakhage lectures

I have acquired 76 pages of original Stan Brakhage
lectures circa 1974 that dissects and discusses the basic
elements of film as a substratal form of expression . I
have only begun reading these lectures, but with the little I
know about Brakhage I believe it will be an interesting read
regarding form, substance, colour, and perception. An ungilded
view of inanimate objects, that coalesce the "out" with the
"in". Basically, to absorb what we see outside of our own reality.
It is when this phenomenon occurs, that enlightenment sparks.

"the search for an art . . . .
either in the making or the appreciation . . . . is the most terrifying adventure imaginable..." -Brakhage.
